I am currently in boxed layout and my image are not all resizing to the same size or some of them are cut off.
I saw in the pdf that you recommend a minimum width of 800px for portfolio images but I dont know if this is for the full width layout and not the boxed one.
So what I would like to know what is your recommended image size in width and height so they all look good and are all the same size for the Nectar Slider, Blog and Portfolio ?
I use 3 Column and 4 column portfolio, the blog with the right sidebar, the nectar slider on the homepage and the recent post and recent work shortcode on the homepage.
I am currently in Localhost and I dont think you need my live website to tell me your recommendation since I did not change the dimension of your boxed layout and all. Im at default settings.
If you cannot help me without seeing my website wich i doubt, then I will try to upload it to my live server.
You are right minimum should be 800px . Also some cropping will occur if you use fullwidth container or any such element as the image tries to cover the whole space of that container and not leave any blank space inside the container the image it.
Since all images are different there is no one standard dimension which would work for all. Solution is to upload a high res oin media library and crop scale as per usage.
