We have used your social sharing widget at the bottom of every page with my client really likes, but she really wants the ability to share via LinkedIn as well just like the others since a lot of her target audience is business related. Is there a way to add this?
I am on version 4.0 and I believe you are referring to having the LinkedIn option in the social media links that link to their profiles in the header and the footer. What I am referring to is the social sharing shortcode that can be implemented on a blog post, portfolio page, or in my case, implemented into the site like I do at the bottom of every page to increase social shares. This short code only has the 4 options of Nectar Love, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest (see screen shot attached). I want to be able to add the ability for a LinkedIn share button.
Refer to the bottom of most of the pages here http://robostrong.com/ you will see those sharing options (the ones I'm referring to) and then in the footer are the 2 social media profile links of Facebook and LinkedIn (the ones I'm not referring to).
unfortunately this would require custom javascript development in addition to modding the template files to include the button. Each sharing button needs to have a javascript event to call the social networks api to grab the current share count also an event to do the sharing on click. If you don't wanna take this task on yourself, consider either using a plugin for sharing buttons and deactvating the built in ones or checking on envato studio for freelance services :)

Is this still not an option? Is it possible to insert a LinkedIn button under Blog Options?

No i am afraid we dont have this option yet therefore you will have to resort to Third Party Sharing Plugins .
