I just updated to Wordpress 3.9 (Smith?) And noticed that when I scroll on my site now, the logo header becomes duplicated for some reason. Will this need a salient update to fix?
If you're not comfortable using FTP, then according to the Salient documentation:
"You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting
the current version you have on your server and uploading the new."
Your pages and posts won't be deleted if you do this, but FTP is a better method to be honest as the theme doesn't need to be deleted/deactivated before you do it.
Remember to clear your browsers cache after you update to get rid of any old files lingering from before the update.
I deleted it and reuploaded, don't think I have access to the FTP because a friend hosts the site for me. But that did the trick, and it resolved the duplication issue!

Hi Gavin,
I had the same thing too, but the latest update to v4.0.3 solved it for me.

Glad they fixed it! Good timing with a new update!
I can't seem to install it though :/
You must select "Yes" from the "Upgrade existing theme?" dropdown option in order to upgrade an existing theme. Try again.
And with the new Wordpress 3.9, it isn't giving me that option to get a dropdown, so I can't update (and I don't know how to use FTP etc.
