Slides: Broken link to images

    Hi,

a new nectar slider does not show any slides. Why? If I add slides then images are correctly loaded from media library and are also shown as a preview. After location of the slides to a new location, the slider says it has 5 slides for example. But the slider on the page is empty (black backround and waiting circle).

I found out that the images for the slides are not linked at all.

    How can that happen?

    Hey Thomas,

anyway you can supply me the URL to your page that contains a problem slider so I can check it out? Also if you can give me admin access so I can log in and check for errors that would be helpful :)

    Cheers

    Hi Nectar,

unfortunately the site is still on localhost. So I cannot give you access.

On my site I have two nectar slider. The first one works fine. After I added more slides for the second slider (different location) these slides do not show as preview (like the old ones) in the overview slides page.
If I open "Edit" each new slides shows as previews with its correct location.
Also the location list is Ok, showing the correct numer of slides for each slider.
But: The slider does not appear, only black area ("waiting") ...

Maybe it is not possible to have two slider in one site ?

I tried several times, deleted, made new slides, new locations, new pages etc.

Maybe you can support by Teamviewer?

    Hey Thomas!

Unfortunately we can not help you if the site is not online. Please use the "duplicator" WP plugin to put the site online very easily so that we may help you out.

    Thanks

    Tahir,

as I said the site is not online, because it is under construction.

Why can´t you help by remote desktop (Teamviewer). It is the same as working on the webserver?

    Please answer at [email protected]

    Regards

    Thomas

    Tahir,

you did not answer my question. What ist wrong or difficult or whatever having a look at my site via remote desktop?

Nothing different compared to login to a live page! (which you offered in order to support me)

Hey Thomas, the biggest issue about that is the scheduling aspect - overall it takes more time and also becomes somewhat of a live chat which is great, but impractical to offer since we have to treat all buyers the same and since most would love that option we wouldn't be able to manage. Also because it's always been a rule we only support through here/email/comments we can't give special treatment to an individual since it's unfair to the rest for all the times we turned down phone calls and things similar to this.

If you're stuck on localhost right now, just try and put this on the backburner until you can get a staging server going and we can resume then or continue to try and help via here :)

    Cheers
