hi there. Wondering if you could help. I have a re-occurring problem when Im updating my pages. Have been using the visual editor to compose my pages but I continually get a message thats says "Your page layout was created with previous Visual Composer version. ... to the new version, make sure to. Convert to new version". Every time I update the page. Im on Salient Version 4.0.3. Great theme BTW

    Hey Ronald!

Are you sure you have not been switching back to the classic editor at all and adding text/shortcodes outside of VC rows? That message should only appear when things exist in the layout that are not in rows and thus VC needs to reconvert the page content to allow it to work in the visual editor.

    Cheers

I have the same problem too. When it happens, it adds an ' to an area where I have the word you've typed in and if I update the page a couple of times that you've then looks like you////////////'ve

    Hey Louis!

As Nectar mentioned. Please dont switch btw the Visual And classic Editor. Only use the Visual and put any text or shortcode in the Text block Page element.

    Cheers

Are you sure that's the sole reason? These guys seem to suggest it's a bug in visual composer?

I'm getting the same error message, and for some reason cannot access my revisions.

    Hey Again!

No its not a bug, There is probably some text outside the [vc_rows] that is causing the issue. IF you create the same page again using solely the Visual Mode this error will not occur.

    Thanks
