I've updated to Wordpress 3.9 and Salient 4.0.3 and I now have a problem with the Visual Composer.
When I click to edit a text block it looks like there's no content (see attached screenshot). When I switch to Text mode I can see that there's text there, but if I edit the text in Text mode somehow all the content on the whole page gets added in the text block. Very strange.
Any ideas of how to solve this? Right now my website is impossible to edit.
Hey Ida - Deactivating your plugin SQUIRRLY sorted the issue - it seems there's a javascript conflict between that and visual composer in WP 3.9. I've noted to test more why this is locally and see if I can solve the issue for the next release :)
Everyone else - can you ensure you've done a clean update to 4.0.3 by deleting the old version before uploading the new and also making sure the issue is not plugin related? If you've checked these two things and are still having issues feel free to open a separate private ticket with admin credentials so I can see what's causing the error on your specific setup :)
And yes, it seems like everything works as i should now :) (And it would be awesome if you would work out the conflicting javascripts in the future since Squirrly is a really useful plugin that we use a lot a lot.)
