We've recently run into an issue with our logos in the header, It would appear the both the retina logo and the default logo appear on screen after the header resize occurs as a result of scrolling...
The only way we've been able to mitigate this so far is through the disabling of the 'header resize on scroll' option. I'm not sure where that style is coming from that's forcing the retina to display as an inline-block, but it was working just before Wordpress force-updated us to 3.9
If there's any advice you can impart that'd be great! All of our plugins are updated, save for a plugin that we've disable-tested to make sure that there's no conflict on that end.
Having the same problem here. I also can't seem to find the ThemeNectar auto-update page in my theme anymore either.
I do remember inputing my Envato username, etc. but that area is now gone in the Salient tab. So I wasn't sure if the recent update from last week automatically did so or not. Wordpress definitely updated so that could be the problem as Courtney mentioned above.
Yes indeed updating to version 4.0.3 should fix it .
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.

Having the same issue after upgrading to 3.9. Should have known better.
FIXED! - Update your Salient theme to the latest version and it solves all the little bugs that were introduced with 3.9. Great support ThemeNectar!
