I just bought Salient theme v 4.0.3 and installed Wordpress 3.9. I am new to Visual Composer but I read all the documents and support tickets but I could not find any support for Frontend edit feature. Is the front end edit feature removed from the Salient version of VC? I made the purchase specifically because contained VC and I assumed if had the frontend edit feature as well as all the other VC standard features. Maybe I am missing how to enable it. If its not included, can I add it? Is there an option to remove Salient version of VC and add the full version of VC?
I am afraid we have an extended version of the visual composer and the Frontend option is not yet available as it was just recently released. We are looking into it and should be available in future updates. As regards removing the Built-in Visual Composer it can be done theoretically but the theme would not function as intended.

Ah! Thanks @tahir. It did seem available awhile back since I used it for a site and it's Hot Spot map. Since it's no longer available, I can't edit that map anymore. Would you know if Salient will be bringing it back and/or would you know of an alternative to Sike's 'Visual Composer Add-on Image Hotspot with Tooltip' that doesn't require the Frontend Editor?
Salient Never had the Frontend Editor in the bundled Salient VC . Perhaps you were using the Standalone WPbakery VC Plugin which does have the Frontend Editor.
The Image hotspot VC element in Salient VC does not require the Frontend Editor .

I'm having an issue with the actual map image not showing up, however, I'll go through all the testing steps first before bothering you again.

@ryan, Which issue are you experiencing ?. The Front End editor is not available in Salient yet.
