I have just updated wordpress to the latest version. When I go to edit content in a page using the visual composer I can see the content in the block when I click to edit the block the content doesn't seem to be there. In the visual editor If I select all I can find content (It is white text including all the coding markup that I would expect to see in the text editor). The WYSIWYG editor is missing and if I try and add short code it doesn't work. Please help as I need to get this fixed as soon as possible. I have tried switching off all plugins to see if there is a conflict and there isnt. I have not edited any code so I assume there is some sort of conflict between Sailent and the new wordpress update?

    Hey!

Please update to version 4.0.3 .

You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.

    Cheers

    Hey Blake!

Salient 4.0.3 is fully compatible with WP 3.9 and was released for the compatibility issue. If you cant seem to get rid of the problem please try deactivating all the plugins. Switch to default theme and then again switch to Salient.

    Thanks

I'm at a loss. I've tried everything suggested and still no solution. Is there any other fix?

Please provide wp-admin login details so we can take a look and check your backend for any console or JS errors.
