Well, I spoke too soon. Now the Salient settings page shows blank panels for all of the settings. AND I still can't add a user since there's no password entry (just a Show Password button). Tried clearing the cache again, switching to a different theme, etc.
My client is having the same issue (site was handed over to them last year) but as their support has now run out I can't submit a ticket. Are you able to tell us how your issue was resolved? I can't see your attached screenshots/private replies. The client urgently needs to make changes to their site but without a visual editor in Wordpress pages, they can't.
They didn't updtae using those instructions - they just clicked update and followed the screen. Is there any way of reverting back? How can we fix this as they are still unable to update their site?
I updated to the latest Salient, and associated plug-ins. I cleared the cache, and performed other instructions here.
I enabled the WPBakery Page Builder (Visual Composer is gone) and disabled Gutenberg.
But now whenever I try to edit a Page or Portfolio, it takes me to the generic text editor page.

Here is the result of my attempt to add a new user. Note that there's no place to enter a password, and the Show Password button does nothing.
Also attached a screenshot showing the blank Salient panel.
Tested this on IE, Firefox and Chrome.
Huh, well it started working today. There were upgrades to three plug-ins, so maybe that did the trick.
This issue can be closed.

Hi Mercer_Design,
They should disable gutenberg editor.
Hope this helps.
Hi Andrew, we don't have that option anywhere?
Hi Mercer_Design,
Did they update by following the instruction here:
http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/wordpress-5-0-update-guide/
Ensure you install classic editor.
Hope this helps.
