In working within a child theme, the 'normal' procedure is to duplicate any necessary parent template and put it in the child theme folder. This works for CPT 'single' pages, but there does not appear to be a similar 'archive' template to work with.
How can we customize individual CPT archive pages?
I appreciate the direction. I am aware of how to create an archive page. I suppose what I was trying to ask about was where to find the code that would normally be inside of a default archive template, so that we can take advantage of the theme's existing archive code.
Ideally, we could start with the existing archive code and then adjust as necessary. Is there a resource that would show us that code?

Thanks, Andrew.
