Off-Canvas menu & Column Backgrounds not working on iOS?

    Hi,

It seems like the Off Canvas menu and Column Backgrounds aren't working on mobile iOS devices. We tried it on multiple devices now and the Off Canvas menu doesn't open when you press the button on mobile iOS devices. What's odd though is that we have another site running Salient (10.0.1) and the Off Canvas menu is working fine on iOS mobile devices in this version.

Additionally, column backgrounds aren't being displayed on the iOS devices we tested on. This makes the layout of certain parts of the site look rather weird.

Is there a mistake on our part or are these bugs that you can confirm? If there is a bug, can you offer any quick fixes that we can do manually?

We'd really like to launch the new version of our website, but not being able to open the menu on iOS is kind of a blocking issue.

    Kind regards,

    Nico

    Hey,

Please update to Salient Theme Version 10.5.3 and Salient WPBakery Page Builder 5.7 .

To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature addons in the Latest Theme update,  the changelog can be viewed here : http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/important-salient-update-for-new-envato-requirements/

    Hi Tahir,

Thanks for getting back to me! Our website (the one I attached in the original ticket), is using Salient 10.5.3 and WPBakery Page Builder 5.7.

The Off Canvas menu is still not working on iOS devices for us. Can you please have a look?

    Kind regards,

    Nico

I fixed it. I was using jQuery 3.x for a few javascripts at the bottom of the page. I suppose this messed up the Salient scripts, as they are using jQuery 1.x.

What's weird though is that I still have to manually include jQuery 1.x in front of my javascripts. Otherwise they don't work / they don't recognize that jQuery has already been loaded on the page.

    Hey Again,

We havent had anyone report such an issue yet. Though escalating it to the Developer so he may add in a response.
