    Dear Theme Nectar,

When a user tries to open and play a video on our Video's -page it is not shown. Instead it displays an error: You don't have permission to access /wp-content/themes/salient/includes/portfolio-functions/video.php on this server.

    How can I fix this?

Another issue I have is that the homepage background video is not shown on all computers. For instance it is shown on an Imac desktop computer, but not shown on a laptop with Internet Explorer. How can I fix this issue?

    Hope to hear from you.

    Regards, Annet

    Dear Tahir,

I have covered item 3.2 but I cannot find the .htaccess file in my ftp programme. Where can I access it?

    Thank you for your reply

    Thank you.

For the homepage I have uploaded a screenshot as still image + the video in mp4, webm and ogv formats. It works well on desktop computers. On mobile phones and tablets it shows the screenshot. Is this the maximum functionality I can get with video backgrounds?

I hope you would like to help me with my second problem. The fact that the video's on the Video's page do not play. I get this error:

You don't have permission to access /wp-content/themes/salient/includes/portfolio-functions/video.php on this server.

    Thanks

    Hey Annet!

The permission issue is related to your theme folder's permission. Could you try setting it to 755 or 777. This link might help: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-use-ftp-to-upload-files-to-wordpress-for-beginners/
