I had this issue with v10.0.5 and just updated to 10.5.3 and it persists. Everytime I try and save in the Salient Options panel I see an error dialog "There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page" - I've tried both to no avail.
The web console doesn't show any errors so I'm unclear what to do next.
Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
