      Hi guys!

First of all, congrats on the great theme, I have some issues from now and then but all in all, it's a great theme.

My biggest concerns right now are two:

      • Fonts are not displaying correctly on Chrome, Safari and Mobile. This is specially the case with the Playfair Display  (Chrome and Safari do not recognize the different Italics I have set up on the the Salient Menu) and Lato.
      • On Mobile (specially iphone), the text appears out of place, form and with different fonts all together.

Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you soon.

      Hey Eidos!

Thank you for the appreciation. Does the "Playfair Display" font have the italics in its character set ?. Same for Lato.

Since its an open source font we can not guarantee it to display perfectly on phones.

I just did a quick google search and it seems other ppl also have the same issue. This url might help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9326569/google-... .

      Thanks

      Hi Tahir,

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm only using what each font has in it's character set. I've gone too Google Fonts in all browsers (laptop, etc) and they have a good display and they work well, this means there should be something wrong with the way Salient is using them. Is there any way to fix it?

      Regards,

      Filipe

      Hey Filipe!

      1. For the Chrome font rendering issue with italics - try just setting the style to regular in the typography options panel and then in the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel set the font-style to italic.

      2. The mobile font issues were fixed in 4.0.1 - please update to the most current version to get that fix :)

      Cheers

      Hi guys,

Thanks for the reply. I have the latest version of the template installed and I'm still having problems. After a lot of head breaking, I found the reason why. Header 2 (customizable in the Salient interface) is not working properly, therefore does not show the correct font or resolution for it (Salient>Typography>Header 2. I have no idea to fix it, how can this be done?

What I'm doing now is playing around with other Headers to adapt to my site (working on a new version - www.eidosbranding.com/eb), but it's not best option as H2 is an important for tracking and other analytic/search tools.

      Thanks in advance,

      Filipe

      Hey again!

Anyway you can allow me to login so I can test the h2 on your end and see what's causing it to not work?

      Cheers

Yes of course! What email should I use to give you access?

      Cheers,

Hey again - an administrator role would be ideal to allow me access to the Theme Options Panel as well :)

      Thanks!

I've created a test page on your setup and the H2's seem to be behaving based on what you have set in the typography options panel:

http://www.eidosbranding.com/h2-testing/ - can you let me know what is missing based on your settings in the options panel so I can assist further?

      Cheers
