    Hello, in the Home slider
    seen here:

    http://themenectar.com/demo/salient/home/home-basic/

    The video is set up in the slide but not as the background. Can I do this with the Nectar Slider?

    You can try adding the embed code in the caption area of the nectar slider .

    Thanks for the reply, I didn't realize that field could accept HTML.

    Now there's another issue - it seem there is some Javascript in the theme which stretches the video, is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

    Yes there is a css property in the stylesheet. Could you please provide us a url so i could write up a css override for it.

    Thanks for the reply, I've since switched to using a lightbox popup instead, ends up being a much cleaner solution.
