I have made a terrible mistake and I cant even log in to my WP admin. Iv FTP'd the Saliant theme and some WP "main files". Can you help me at least get back on track?
Both my css and login ability seems to be effected. Let me know if you need any more information or credentials.
Do you have the old wp-config file ? .If yes you will have to copy paste the database and username so the new installation points to the old database. Also your ftp is a maze and i dont know which folder has the theme files ?.
I believe I downloaded, then uploaded the same wp-config file. So Im using the "old wp-config file" still. It looks to have a database and username value.
In my FTP my theme is located in: collinrobert > wp-content > themes > Salient
Yes but if it were the right database then why is your content not appearing since you claim that the folders are there . Also this is not really Theme support so best would be to hire a freelancer who can sort this out for you. You can head on over to Envato Studio which is a service from Envato that offers paid WordPress customizations. I'm sure a developer on there would be able to wrap this up for you :)
