This is a continuation of ticket 198434. Either my host or my client upgraded the site to 3.9.1 and the problem of the text block element not saving is back. I'd really prefer not to have to revert back to 3.8.3. See my conversation from someone else's ticket below.
just as an FYI, I had an issue when i upgraded to 3.9 as well. The page editor suddenly would not save any edits, it would tell me that it saved, but when i checked again, the previous state was still persistent.v4.0.3 of the theme did not fix it,I had to downgrade back to 3.8.3 to fix the issue (not an easy process by the way, not blaming anyone, i just should have waited for these compatibility issues to smooth out before blasting forward).

Hey Matt! There's currently no known issues with the editor not saving - before you downgraded did you also ensure that a plugin was not the issue? If you get around to upgrading again please just open your own ticket in regards with your log in credentials so I can see what's causing the issue :)
Could you please try deactivating all plugins for a sec to check if it fixes the issue you seem to be having. If yes please activate the plugins one by one to find the culprit and report the issue to the plugin developers so then can release an update.
got it figured out. we were pasting in some code into a textblock that had 2 conflicting versions of jQuery in it, and that broke any page editor that it was on.

Hey Matt! Those credntials don't seem to be letting me through, can you verify they're correct?
Cheers
