Page transitions via AJAX

    Hi,

I saw that there is an option for page transitions in Salient but unfortunately I cannot achieve the effect I’m looking for because it reloads the entire HTML DOM. I’m trying to make a fullscreen animated overlay while in the background the page is changing and I don’t think it’s possible if the whole HTML DOM is reloading.

So I tried to implement it with an external library (smoothState.js) and it’s working fine if I use it on the ‘#ajax-content-wrap’ container. Only the content of the ‘#ajax-content-wrap’ container is reloaded via AJAX, great! But I’m building a multilanguage website and I will also need to load the menus in the same call in case the user is switching language.

So I tried to make the call on the parent container ‘.ocm-effect-wrap-inner’ (which include both the menu and the page content) but if I use this container the whole HTML DOM is reloading… and breaks the page transition.

I would highly appreciate if you can help me or at least guide me in the right direction to achieve what I’m looking for. I’ve tried a lot of different things but I cannot make it work.

    Thank you !

    Hey,

Unfortunately there is no such code guide available at the moment to help you out with these .

    Best.

Don't you have any clue why it reloads the entire HTML DOM if I use the library on the ‘.ocm-effect-wrap-inner’ container ?
