I recently started to install the Salient theme on to my WordPress site. Everything went smoothly until I started to install the plugins. Every plugin worked except for WP Bakery. For some reason it says that my site already has a destination for this file. I'm not sure why because i have never installed this plugin before.
It is likely you are not using Salient WPBakery Page Builder which is installed when required plugins are installed. If you already have a different version of the WPBakery Page Builder installed, you’ll need to deactivate it before installing the Salient version as only one version of WPBakery Page Builder can be active at a time.
The issue is the folder wp-content / plugins / js_composer_salient / already exists and needs to be removed since the installation process does not seem be able.
You can remove the folder over FTP and if you are not able ask your hosting provider to remove the folder for you.

Hi Lukas,

Hi there
I have the same problem as Lukalevin2, but I don't have/can't find a different version of the WPBakery Page Builder installed. What to do?
Thank you,
Julie
Hi lukaslevin2 and Julie,
Apologies for the previous response.
The issue is the folder wp-content / plugins / js_composer_salient / already exists and needs to be removed since the installation process does not seem be able.
You can remove the folder over FTP and if you are not able ask your hosting provider to remove the folder for you.
Hope this clears things up.
