we have a productions and development site. when opening a post type of products the visual editor appears on the screen. When opening a page post type the visual editor starts to appear and then reverts to a classic/text editor where all the visual composer tags are displayed. This used to work. WE have made no updates or configuration changes.
I have tried updating to word press 5.2.4. No change. On the development site I tried updating the plugin. It failed. But then I think I need to re-read the directions.
Why has this stopped working for only one post type?
