[Urgent] Website Crashed after Installation of New Theme

    Hi guys,

    This is is pretty bad. I updated WP to 3.9.1 and found out that the Text Box not working. Checked this forum and it mentioned to update the theme to the latest one: 4.1

    After installation. it crashed. It shows the details as follow:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function init() on a non-object in /home4/scho4id/public_html/wpid-content/themes/salient/functions.php on line 411

    I checked in in the .php file it says:

      $wpVC_setup->init($composer_settings);

    I have no idea what is the above code means. My quenstions are:

    1. How do I update my WP Database from Cpanel?

    2. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hey Dimas!

    Simply reupload the theme folder via Ftp or cpanel . Also there is a new theme update version 4.1.1 . Please update to it and it should fix this issue.

    Hey Przemek!

    Please try reuploading the files via FTP if you added it via the Theme Upload Menu.

    Hi Tahir,

    I'm receiving the same error.

    I'm using WordPress 4.0.

    I'm using Version 4.5.22 of salient.

    Re uploading the files does not resolve the issue.

    Hey!

    Please deactivate all plugins and then upload and activate theme. It could be a plugin conflict.
