I try to use the "big" version of visual composer.
I deactivate the inbuilt version and activate the plugin.
If I try to activate the visual composer Plugin, the whole Site is off. In one of my tests also the wp-admin too.
Visual composer Support told me:
There is an inbuilt version of visual composer (or related code) present in your theme which is overriding the standalone plugin version and hence causing the issue. You will have to get rid of the inbuilt version (or the related code still present). I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine.
What can I do to fix this problem? Can someone help me?
Please update to Salient Theme Version 4.1.1 which has a option in Salient Options Panel to turn off the inbuilt Visual Composer.
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.

I updated to 4.1.1, over FTP. I clear also the cache.
But, the problem is still the same.
If I try to activate the Visual Composer, there is just a withe site.
