I cannot seem to activate comments on pages. I've checked the allow comments box on the specific page and in the Discussion settings in the panel. But even though they are all fully checked the post option on the page does not appear. It works on posts. I would like to activate commenting on a specific page. I also tried deactivating all the plugins to see if there was a conflict but even with all the plugins deactivated it still doesn't work.
