    Hello,
    I want in my installation that the Google Fonts will be load from the theme (Salient-Typography-Load from Theme is selected).

    However, the source code searcher in Chrome indicates that the fonts are loaded from the google-server. What am I doing wrong?

    Hey there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    I am afraid the Theme has no such option to disable it from loading it dynamically. However you can use this plugin to load your own fonts : https://wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/ .

    But I want to forbid that the theme loads the Google Fonts from the Google Server. Is that possible? For example with a child-theme and a code snippet in the child-function.php?

    (I would like to use the Google Fonts, but self-hosted!)

    @Ursula , The New Theme Version has an option to not load the Default Google Font : http://prntscr.com/qo72o8 .

    Hi, 

    I have activated "Load Font from Theme", please have a look in the source code, there are still all fonts.googleapis links.

    Therefore I asked if Thomas could resolve the problem with the other solutions mentioned in the article.

    Do you have Roboto Selected in any of the Fields in the Typography Section of Salient Theme Options Panel ?.
