    Hi there,

Try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for the quick response.

I deactivated all plugins and just left Salient Visual Composer enabled but that didn't fix the issue I am afraid. I still cannot add the button.

    Here is my set up:

    WordPress version 5.3.2
Current theme: Creative Hut Child Theme (version 1.0)
    Salient WPBakery Page Builder: 6.1
    PHP version 7.1.33

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Sorry for delay in response.

That is odd, Could you try switching to salient parent theme and see if the issue is cleared. You can the reinstall the child theme.

You can also check the following link for console errors.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Andrew,

I switched to Salient parent theme but it still doesn't work. I have tried in both Google Chrome and Firefox browsers.
    The errors are attached.

error points to this file - /wp-content/plugins/js_composer_salient/assets/js/dist/backend.min.js?ver=6.1

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

    That didn't work either.
We also tried version 7.3.13 and 7.4.1 and that didn't work.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi there,

    Apologies for this issue.

We logged in, disabled and deleted salient wpbakery page builder then reinstalled it from appearance \ install plugins and it now seems to work.

We added a text block and single image element on the test page here - https://www.creative-hut.co.uk/testpage/

    Cheers.
