Salient Plugins not Working

    I've successfully uploaded the Salient theme via Cpanel, however, on the WP dashboard I'm unable to add the recommended Salient plugins, or any of the Salient plugins.

    Hey,

    Your server likely timed out and files did not copy over correctly. See url : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Downloading/Reuplodading

    With Using Easy Theme Upgrades Plugin

    • Step 1. Download the Salient theme archive from ThemeForest
    • Step 2. Head over to Appearance > Themes in your WordPress dashboard
    • Step 3. Click the Add New button on this page followed by the Upload button when prompted
    • Step 4. Locate the salient.zip file you extracted from the ThemeForest download archive and click the Install Now button
    • Step 5. Choose Yes In the Upgrade existing theme? option from the dropdown list
    • Step 6. Click Install Now followed by Activate

    When I try to upload the theme through Appearance >> Add New >> etc., I get the error " The link you followed has expired". Should I try and upload it via Cpanel again?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Check PHP Settings as it might be an issue. 

    Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

    • max_execution_time 60
    • memory_limit 256M
    • post_max_size 48M
    • upload_max_filesize 48M

    Please have your hosting provider fix this for you so it can be installed correctly.
