    Is there a way to HIDE the dates that are displayed beneath portfolio items (on my site, renamed WRITERS)?  I'm manipulating the dates to manually alpha sort entries by last name...SECOND:  I'm hoping to find a way to automatically alpha sort and welcome suggestions.  Thank you for your help.  Ed

    You can try using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/intuitive-custom-post... to reorder the portfolios.

    I am curious about the first part his question - is there a way to hide the date from being displayed in the Portfolio views?

    Ok - just found it - in the theme options panel inside the "Portfolio Options" tab, there is a 'Display Dates on Projects?' setting.  awesome!
