I am having 2 issues with the image galleries on my website.
1.) Is there a way to center (aka get rid of the sidebar feature) the Image Galley when using the Image Grid Style on a portfolio item? The one I have set up is off center: http://www.nicholasmarianoactor.com/portfolio/head...
2.) When using the Nectar Slider Style Image Gallery, can you choose which part of the image is featured in the preview? I went and adjusted the thumbnails on all the images in my media library, but the image gallery is just using the center of the image instead of the cropped area. Have sorted it for you . Had to turn on the Fullwidth Portfolio option on the Portfolio page and add in some custom css.
Also please update to Salient Theme Version 4.1.1 to fix the minor bugs such as this one.
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new.
It's recommended that you use FTP, but this also can be done with the WP dashboard if you prefer. The reason FTP is superior for this is because the theme won't have to be deactivated during the process so you won't have to reassign your widgets. If you're
interested in keeping up to date with the latest changes and fixes, please refer to the changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html
Also, remember to clear your browser cache after each update if you notice anything off. Old theme files can persist in your local cache and make you think something's wrong.

I just downloaded the Salient Theme from Themeforest again, uploaded it via FTP, and none of the issues are being resolved. I am also not seeing how you have fixed the 2nd portfolio issue I listed? The images are still cropping at the center of the photo instead of where I set the thumbnail to be. Also, on the 1st issue I mentioned above: Is there a way to have this not be fullwidth? I liked the spacing before just wanted the gallery to be centered on the page.The scale of the photos in the fullwidth option are messing up their resolution and making them look fuzzy.

I see you have changed the layout a bit. Do you still want me to make any changes to your live site ? . As regards the image cropping you will have to manually do them via the WP native image editing options .
You are not solving any of the problems I am having with this theme. I have already edited all the images in the media library. Hey Christine! This ticket was flagged for my attention since there was outstanding issues:
1. I've changed your image gallery element back to a non fullwidth layout and entered the correct image dimensions in for the size to allow the entire image to display without cropping. Is that what you were looking for?
2. The Nectar Slider is only intended to use one size for all slides, when you upload various proportions for each image parts will get clipped off some depending on what the size is that you set for the slider. If you need a variable height slider, use the flex slider style or if you want to change all images to crop from the top on the Nectar Slider add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel:

The only other thing I am noticing is on the Headshots page (http://www.nicholasmarianoactor.com/portfolio/headshots/) one of the pictures appears shorter than the others (pic 1 on the second row)...do you know why this would be happening or how I can adjust it?
