Portfolio Post Grid Order

    Hello! I'm trying to find an easy way to order my portfolio pages in the post grid manually, not by date, author, or any of the other options listed. Is there a way to do this or a creative way around it? I tried changing the date on the page, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

    Thanks so much for your help!

    Hey Again,

    Try using this plugin and check : https://wordpress.org/plugins/intuitive-custom-post-order/ .

    Thanks so much for you help. I can drag portfolio posts and reorder on the dashboard, but it doesn't seem to translate to the homepage. Any ideas of what's going on? There is code in the FAQ section of this page to override "orderby" but I"m not sure where I would put it. Is that what I need?

    For the Plugin to work you need to use the "Portfolio" Page Element and not the "Post Grid" Page Element .

    Hi Tahir!

    What is the best way to override the salient portfolio plugin template from my child theme?

    I had to do a few edits in /plugins/salient-portfolio/includes/front-end/shortcode.php

    I would like this to live inside my child theme instead.

    Hey Again,

    I am afraid there is no such Code Snippet available at the moment.

    Hi,

    Can we reverse the portfolio order for a specific category? Meaning first one that shows up wouldn't be the last one posted?

    Thanks

    @William,

    Unfortunately the Salient Theme Options have no such feature available at the moment.

    Thanks
