BUT, when I update the page the link turns to this when viewing (after reloading)... instead of going to SHOP, it stays at HOME and adds a /# at the end? Same if I change it to anything else. ABOUT page does ABOUT/#, but not to the linked page I want to go to.
Thanks Andrew that worked... Tahir - I did that and didn't fix the issue - but thanks anyway.
Andrew: so, why doesn't this just work without having to create blocks/buttons? The Nectar Slider works with the internal button, but why not just this basic text:

https://rusticpainter.com/
Its like this:
[divider line_type="No Line" custom_height="20"][button color="extra-color-3-tilt" hover_text_color_override="#fff" size="large" url="https://rusticpainter.com/shop/" text="Shop Now!" color_override="" ]

Hey Again,
Try Disabling "Gutenberg Editor" from "WPBakery Page Builder Settings-> Disable Gutenberg Editor" and check .
The url in the shortcode is automatically converted to a HTML Link therefore its not parsing correctly.
