I changed the setting in header navigation settings.. and the background colour of the header and menu is still white, when i changed it to a shade of blue.
Could you set the header color scheme to custom and then alter the colors to what you need. See if that works.
We tried to load you site but is behind a coming soon page. We wanted to see the header first hand to also make sure it wasn't a plugin interfering with the colors.
Let us know how that goes and we can take it from there.
