When I go to Salient theme options and click "Call to Action" and fill in the Call to Action Text, Call to Action Button Text, and Call to Action Button Link URL, the home page goes blank, the footer area is blank.
I have the latest Salient theme and my home page only makes use of Theme Nectar shortcodes to layout the content.
Interestingly, if I clear the Call to Action text boxes, the content on the page and footer show up again. It's almost like it's a problem with the HTML.
I would disagree. Could you please try using the Visual Composer to build the page you want as there is likely some unclosed shortcode or missing tag that is causing the issue. Also please provide the url if possible.
I figured it out. I was using the anti-splog plugin and my child theme that inherits from Salient was overriding the call to action button link to call the random anti-splog sign up URL. Sorry for the trouble!
