Hi guys - AWESOME THEME - but I need some help!!
I have recently had my adsense account cancelled and while doing my research about how this could have happened, I stumbled upon some comments about the theme not being 100% Adsense- friendly... Is this true? I NEED a solution as I LOVE this theme but I also need it to work with Adsense.
1 more Question - Is it possible to make the sidebar a fixed 300px wide without messing the layout up? Your help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Haus!

Can you please provide further technical details as to what you mean by it not friendly with Adsense . I am afraid the sidebar is fluid so simply overriding the css would mess it up. I have flagged the ticket for the developer to add in a response.

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. One thing is that due to the sidebar not being 300px wide, if you place a 300x250 add in there, part of it will be hidden on most screens & that violates their policies. (I know I could place a 250x250 in there instead, but most advertisers pay bigger $ for the bigger add and it is a more accepted size across the industry... (plus it looks better :)

Just a quick google search brought this up:

"Hey ThemeNectar, lovely theme you have here, congrats on 2.5k purchases!

I just wanted to suggest that perhaps you could add a widget or short code for Google Adsense Advertisements, as when I add Google Ad codes in this theme bad things happen, like the menu disappears or things do not work."

    and then ThemeNectar replies -

    "Thanks a lot Joe!

    1. The adsense conflict is a known bug that a fix has already been created for and will be included in the next release. If you would like the fix early please just open a ticket on the support forum regarding it and I’ll tell you what to update "

I have experienced some of those issues with an older version of Salient, and just need to be 100% certain that any of these problems have been rectified in the latest version.

    Hey Haus,

the issue being referred to in that older comment was resolved - there used to be a problem with Salient loading the actual adsense units. Unless your ads were canceled because of the clipping, there's no other reason this could have occurred from the theme alone.

Becase the sidebar is indeed based on a percent, you might want to consider using a responsive ad unit to go with it:
