    Conflict with Yoast Premium

    Disabled ALL plugins except for

    • Coming Soon Pro (to maintain holding page while messing around)
    • Salient Core
    • Salient WPBaker Page Builder
    • Yoast SEO Premium

    Yoast Social elements are blank

Disabling salient plugins so only active plugins were

    • Coming Soon Pro (to maintain holding page while messing around)
    • Yoast SEO Premium

Yoast Social elements behaved as expected.

Enabling Salient plugins, reverted to broken state.

Inconsistent Yoast Social behaviour on different posts.

Initial thought was that the video was causing issues as it was the only obvious element that did not exist on functional posts, but removal and update of post did not resolve Social behaviour

Deleting existing content and replacing with placeholder text also did not resolve behaviour.

    Thanks

    Hey Again,

Please check for Browser Console Errors : https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors when it does not work and let us know.

I have found that the only way t get this working is in gutenberg.. ie I have to view and edit the page in this view to see the Yoast Socials settings

    Hey Jen,

We reworked the Yoast integration with Salient in version 12. Please try to update to the current release of the theme.

Once you've done so, delete your current version of the Salient WPbakery page builder plugin and then reinstall it - it's needed to delete/reinstall since we did not bump the version of WPBakery yet and you're already using 6.1 of the page builder (the version number will be bumped shortly and this extra step won't be necessary then).

I am having a similar problem as Jen. I currently have Salient version 8.5.6 on word press. Can you please tell me how to update to version 12? Thank you.
