My blog categories are not showing up as an option to select, anywhere in the theme. I have refreshed/disabled my cache, added and deleted categories, but still any time I'm given the "blog categories" option in the editor, the only option I have is "All".
Can you investigate if the same issue happens with all other third party plugins deactivated. If it works properly then activate one after the other until culprit is narrowed down.

I only have Salient Core and Page Builder active, and "All" is still the only option.
It turns out if all of the posts in a category are set to "private" or not yet published, that category will not appear.
