I am having a conflict between Yoast SEO and Visual Composer.
I've followed a couple of the tickets in here that relate to similar issues.
1. I've disabled all plugins, then reinstated them, visual composer returns if I disable Yoast, likewise it goes when I activate it. I noticed also that Yoast is telling me the SEO Title of my page is too long, it's not. Maybe the Yoast plugin is somehow corrupt?
2. I've installed clean versions of wp-admin and wp-includes, still the issue is there.
I took a copy of my live site today and installed it to my local environment on MAMP, interestingly the issue is not present there.
If the issue isn't occurring on your local setup, perhaps your live server is running out of memory - is there anyway you can allow me to also log in so can check for other errors?
I actually meant the WordPress credentials (not your actual serverl) - the memory i'm referring to is the PHP memory allotted by your server - this varies with the RAM you have in your hosting and the default server configuration.
I'm not sure if it's a clue to what the issue is but if I open a page the Visual Composer is present, if I open a post it is not. I've just attempted to write a post and was unable to because I can't even add shortcodes or media in the visual editor.
I'm having the same issue with SEO Yoast and Visual Composer conflicting. It looks like on the actual VC plugin page, this issue has been worked out but I obviously would need Salient's version of this wpbakery folder instead of the VC plugin sold ala carte.
If you were able to have it ready earlier, I'm in the process of migrating to a new hosting company and it would make things SO much easier if this upgrade was completed. I do the migration on Tuesday. Would you be able to have it ready by then?
I see that you mentioned it would be ready in about 2 weeks. Do you mind sending one early for me? It would help me out a ton. I could be the beta tester to work out any kinks :)
Please update to Salient Theme Version 5.5.1 . Also see :https://themenectar.ticksy.com/faq/3216
You can update your theme by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, renaming the current version folder you have on your server and uploading the new.
So the directions to download a fresh copy, rename the current version folder on my server and upload the new version did not work. It completely broke my website with widgets everywhere and my theme options settings thrown off :( Thankfully I did a backup before I tried the new theme update, so my original theme settings are now restored.
Can you please add this updated theme for me? After you help with the install, please make sure that all my widgets and individual visual composer settings and theme settings are back to where they were before. There are many many hours of work built into my widgets and composer settings on all of my website's pages.
There is an automated way you can do it : https://themenectar.ticksy.com/faq/3218 . Though i would suggest waiting for a few more iterations till will iron out the New VC issues.
Hi Tahir,
The good news is I'm nearly finished!!

Any ideas where to go next with this.

Hey Jason!
I just ran a performance plugin http://aperturepriority.co.nz/wp-admin/tools.php?p... and everything seems to be alright. Can you please try using another browser.
Thanks

Hey Kyle!
We have a VC upgrade due to come out by the mid this month so it will be fixed in that. If you need the fix earlier let us know.

Let me know your thoughts!
Hey again - the full integration for the latest VC isn't quite done yet at this time, as soon as it is I could send a pre release version though
Cheers
Sounds great, thanks I appreciate that.
I look forward to that pre release version :)
