When on the edit page for the blog page the Preview Changes goes to the Home page. On moving the blog to a new page the same thing happens on the new blog page. The original blog page now has a properly working Preview Page function. The url for the preview that goes back to the Home page is:
I am afraid we cant view the preview page as we are not logged in. Also i am not sure what issue you seem to be having. My guess is it has the same slug and therefore its conflicting. Please try editing in another browser or try clearing your browser cache.
The slug of the "Home" page is "home-3", of the "Blog" page "blog" and of "A Test page" "a-test-page"
If I go to this Blog page and then Edit Page, "Preview Changes" shows the Home page not "Blog". If I move the Blog page to "A Test Page" using Appearance/Customise/Static Page then the preview works on the old "Blog" page but not not now on "A Test Page". That is, the problem follows the page the blog posts are set to be on not the pages themselves if the blog is not on the page.
Same after clearing browser cache, and using Chrome and Safari.
Not a serious problem, just inconvenient to have to go to menu to see the page after an update rather than being able to use preview.

Hey John!
I am afraid we cant view the preview page as we are not logged in. Also i am not sure what issue you seem to be having. My guess is it has the same slug and therefore its conflicting. Please try editing in another browser or try clearing your browser cache.
Thanks

Hey Again!
This seems more like a WP core issue then a theme issue. Can you please confirm it by switching to the Default Theme and test.
Thanks

Hi Tahir
Switched themes (two different ones, default and WP 2012) and the same preview problem so it's a WP problem, then.
Thanks for the very quick responses!
Best
John
