    Hi there,

I would like to use my own custom SVG icons and i already followed all the tips in the previous tickets of other customers.

    1) I've added the icons with Filezilla into the right map: Salient >CSS>fonts>svg

    2) Then i usd a text block and add the Nectar Shortcode for an icon and paste the name of the icon, like so:

    [icon color="accent-color" icon_size="" image="sugar.svg"]

I even tried without the .svg filename but nothing works.

    Please Help!

    Thanks!!

    Hey Again,

Try using this plugin or similar : https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-vector-icon-plugin/ .

Uhhh, Ok and then? Can i get a bit more explanation please?

I already have my own custom SVG icons, so i don't need a different set.

    Thanks.

    Hey Again,

There is no such support available for loading svg icons in salient at the moment. So the earlier methods are just hacks and the changes would be lost if you update the Theme therefore would recommend using Third Party Plugins that offer such options .

Also the svg needs to be in the correct format for it to work . Right not the svg doesn seem to be getting parsed : http://prntscr.com/rpeqo0 .

Ok thanks for the quick answer.

Nevermind, i will use a PNG icon in an image container. One more question: how do i get the PNG image to be a retina image, instead of just a big image.

    Thanks!

Salient uses the WP Adaptive Image feature so just adding a big image will make it work on all screen sizes automatically.

That doesn't seem to work... See homepage, i need the image to be twice as small at least.

    Hey Again,

Try using the Text with Icon Element : http://prntscr.com/rpfocn . Also you can set the Max-width of the Image in here : http://prntscr.com/rpfr2a .
