It seems to be working alright on our local server. Would it be possible for us to look at you backend ?. If so please provide wp-admin login details .
those credentials don't appear to be letting me into the setup - can you please verify that they work? Once I can reach the admin panel I'll be glad to check on this issue for you :)
I put in the code in the editor but the white text is still not showing on visual editor. Am i putitng it in the wrong place?

I made the change to the functions.php file and now works for Paragraph style text, but if the text is H1, H2, etc, it doesn't work.

I just worked out that if using a dark background to use the 'light' setting and this solves the issue :)
