I'm builing a billangual wwebsite (Dutch/French) but I'm having a problem with the accents in French (à, é, è, ç, ...). The OpenSans font isn't displaying the accents properly (see image attached) although it is includes in the font set. Do you know a solution for this? Thanks for the info.

Have you checked the "Use Custom Fonts" under Typography options in your theme options panel and chosen to "Include Latin Characters" ? The default font loaded with Salient does not have support for extended Latin Chars for loading speed purposes. You will need to choose all the fonts you would like to add support to in that options tab :)
