Just fell in love with Salient theme but I'm looking for a way to start my site up with cascading/carousel images with text that are not embedded in the image because that looks bad on mobile? Can you help me?
Thanks, but I'm already using prebuilt. I've played around with both home slider and Nectar slider and with Home slider nothing happens and with Nectar I just get a black background??
no prob! Thanks for the reply. It would be amazing to have an option to « show image caption » or something. Or adding extra layers of cascading objects to fit text. Could create amazing animations.

You need to create the Slides for the Nectar Slider otherwise they would show black as there is no content in it. Please see : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/nectar-slider-plugin/ .
