Svg’s are no longer being accepted within the single image module whereas before they were with the “SVG support” plugin. Is there a fix for this as Im sure many users will want to continue using svg’s
We didn't remove SVG support in v12 - it looks like the issue is being created by a specific combination of options within the image element. Namely, the use of a max width: 50%/75% + center alignment + a non srcset supplied image.
You can correct it now by adding in the following CSS snippet
body .row .center img.img-with-animation {
width: 100%;
}
Hey Daniel, I just tried to replicate on an iPhone X and can see them playing on the provided URL. Can you let me know what model/browser you're using?
Hey Clix2Brix18, I can see that you have a caching/minification plugin active - can you please temporarily deactivate that so that we can ensure we're seeing the same current files?
Have disabled the caching/minification plugin again, that was the first step I tried before contacting you. Still not seeing the animations. Have cleared devices cache/history and using incognito windows in multiple browsers.
I tried to access the site again on my iOS device as well as the devices you listed using browserstack and have not seen the issue occur once yet - see attached video.
Unfortunately until I can replicate it on my end, it will be hard to troubleshoot. What version of the theme were you previously using?

Hi,
No worries, the "Desktop max width" worked before but now it doesnt after the update.
Not to worry, Ive restructured the row and columns and am now using your new spacing and alignment settings which works well.
Thanks for the reply and this is a nice update, good job!
Thanks
Damien
@theme
Our animated SVG files are no longer playing on iOS after updating to 12.0. They function normally on Android and desktop browsers.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

@Clix2Brix18 ,
Could you provide the relevant page url so we can take a look.
Thanks

There are many pages but you can use this one, scroll towards the footer there are three animated SVG icons.

This seems like a different issue. Have escalated it to the developer so he may add in a response.
Thanks

Using an iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPad Pro 2019, Chrome and Safari. Both have the same issue, none of the animated SVG's are playing.

Thanks for checking on this. We were using 11.0.4.
