I'm tring to create images for the Nectar Slider. To do this I'm creating .pjg files in Photoshop to be specific dimensions.
I
create a file with a black border, so I can determine what is visible
and whats not. I have found that 1600x650px @ 72dpi is as close as I can
get the imge to display, but the RHS black line gets cropped.
I
have read the manual and noted the recommendations in the various
dialogue boxes visa-a-vie dimensions, but I cannot get it to work for
me.
When
I apply setting changes to the Nectar Slider to tweek the presentation.
I can never get the image to return to the way it initially displayed.
The nectar slider uses the browser cover css method to lay the image in the its container so that there are no gaps. unfortunately that sometimes results in some areas of the image not showing on different resolutions. I am afraid not much can be done about it . Though you can try the "Flexible Slider Height" Option in Nectar Slider .
The flexible slider height option makes the Nectar Slider respond perfectly to ensure there's no clipping on any view - leaving it off will cause the height of the slider to change only once per every viewport change (desktop, ipad, mobile) and clip variously between them .

Tahir,
I did try that ok, and saw another post stating that the resolution was 1250x650. Thanks again, you can close this case off now.
