Hi is there a way to make it so the products in the product loop always open in quick view and never go to the single product page?

Oh also, when I click "add to cart" in the quick view, it takes me to the single product page. Is there a way that it can just add to cart and close the quickview instead?

ok I can look into that. I tried using a quickview plugin and noticed that after using it for a bit the salient quickview button disappeared. The container was still there but there was no button. I uninstalled the quick view plugin, as well as a variety of other plugins, turned salient quick view off an on, uninstalled and reinstalled salient, changed the salient product loop templates, and the quick view button never returned. Is there a way to get it back? If I am going to try other quick view plugins is there proper steps I should take to ensure that the salient quick view is not affected?
