Hello, I was wondering if you could help me. On this site I've built using the salient parent theme the thumbnails for the portfolio images are loading slowly as well as the icons. Is there a way around this without using a lazy loading plugin or something that effects caching? I've figured out that i will need to reformat the thumbnail images so that they are smaller, but could you tell me what the ideal size/dimensions would be for these? Cause right now the thumbnails are pulling from the same file as the main image on the site so it's around 100-200mb. Thanks!  

Hey, thanks for your reply. that setting is unchecked. the final images are displaying correctly but they aren't loading quickly enough on the page and i think it's because the file sizes are too large. is there some thing in the code so that it loads smaller sized photos for thumbnails? nextnowagency.com for reference.
