My client would like the default portfolio filter "All" to instead read "View All". I attempted to make this change in the template-portfolio.php file, but doesn't seem to change anything. Where do I find the code that populates the "All" filter option?
As a secondary question that isn't as important but I'm curious about. I would like to change the order of the portfolio filters instead of making them alphabetical. This is more for my own edification, to see if it's even possible.
In The "Text Domain" field write "salient" or "salient-portfolli" without quotes . If you are trying to change woocommerce words add "woocommerce" in "Text domain" . The fields are case-sensitive .
Due to using a legacy demo layout from your theme (found here: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ascend/portfolio/london-office/) there is no option to alter the page template. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like on the back end of single portfolio pages when I'm editing. You can see it's missing the template option area to the right. There isn't a way in the theme files to simply edit "All" to "View All"? It seems like an incredibly easy fix, but for some reason when I make this change in the code files it doesn't show in the live site.
The Screenshot is of a "Single Portfolio Page" and not the Main Portfolio Page.

1. I am constantly purging the cache on my page so that's not part of these issues
2. Your changes caused wide-range alterations to my site that I didn't want, unfortunately since changing the template on the home page changes the individual portfolio pages as well.
3. I explained previously that I want to add text *below the portfolio section, so what you have done does not work for me unless you can explain how to add content below the portfolio. I didn't use the portfolio template for this reason when I created the site. If you want to understand what I want, look at the active home page, not the one you're editing.
It also seems now that the sticky sidebar will no longer stay on the right hand side, it slides up with the rest of the content. It was working fine until I started making these setting changes you suggested. I created that secondary home page for you to work with so my default home page wouldn't break if you played with it. Please use this one to test things out: https://genius-creative.com/home-minimal-portfolio/
I have the toggle button on for this setting:
"Portfolio Sidebar Follow on Scroll
When supplying extra content, a sidebar enabled page can get quite tall and feel empty on the right side. Enable this option to have your sidebar follow you down the page."
Update: I now see that the swipe transitions from page to page are also broken (set to on, but no longer working). Several aspects of my site have changed or broken even though I've changed the actual home page back to "Default" template.
Thank you for working through the "View All" issue, it seems to be fixed now. However, I have cleared out my entire site cache repeatedly and tried changing several things within the transitions settings within Salient customization menus and I still can't see the swiping transition that used to be there. You can see the transition I am referring to in action here: https://genius-creative.com/secondary/. I also deactivated all plugins not salient-related and it did not fix the problem, still no swiping transition. Can you explain what's going on? I've checked on several different browsers and none of them show the transition.
It also seems that the navigation is now sticky on desktop (it's supposed to scroll with the page) its background is transparent until I scroll the page (where it turns white like it should be). I'm thinking this will be fixed when the sticky functionality is removed.
I'm not using Woocommerce or WPRocket. Can you please let me know what could be interacting with the site that's breaking these settings? Thanks.
I did some more research and it looks like there was something in the child theme causing the site to break. I've updated to cleaned up files and the transitions are working properly now. It looks like the theme had been changed back to the parent theme for some reason. I needed to make changes in the header file and it's just good business to use a child theme for any customizations. Thank you for your help, I've fixed the remaining issues.

Hey Again,
Switch to the Default Page Template and use the "Portfolio" Page Builder Element instead.
- Try using this Plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/ .
In The "Text Domain" field write "salient" or "salient-portfolli" without quotes . If you are trying to change woocommerce words add "woocommerce" in "Text domain" . The fields are case-sensitive .
- Also use this plugin to order the filters .
Thanks

Hey Again,
1 & 2. I just turned off the Cache in here:https://genius-creative.com/wp-admin/options-general.php#epc_settings so you are viewing the site as is and not as of any previous cache state.
Are you still seeing it broken ?. If yes try viewing the site in Browser Incognito mode.
3. I am already seeing Two Rows Below the Portfolio Section on the Home page and they seem to be showing up on the homepage as well:
.
- Are you seeing something different ?.
Thanks

Hey Again,
- Thanks for the detailed update. To change the Text you have to use the "salient-portfolio" Text domain: https://genius-creative.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=say_what_admin .
- The Other steps that I suggested were to possibly fix these issues you earlier posted:

Hey Again,
Had a detailed look by logging in .
Could you try reinstalling the Salient Theme and check. I doubt there are some files missing .
Thanks
