I am having an intermittent error with my site that show a critical error warning and white screen. It seems to last for about 5 mins and then resolves itself. I've installed the plugin detective plugin but it doesn't run with either the salient or salient child theme active. It returns the following error which suggests there might be an error with the child theme:

If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging.

When i switch to the default theme plugin detective runs and finds no errors.
