On my portfolio home page, I have grid of thumbnails that appears twice.
For each project page, I uploaded a pager header image.
On this page, I also uploaded a thumbnail that appears on the front portfolio page.
I did not upload a feature image.
(I did use a template that was provided, and that had a feature image, which I deleted.)
I looked through the documentation and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
I bought the theme yesterday and installed everything. And everything is working very well besides that one issue. Please note I’m not a coder, just a writer.
Can you point me to help or give me some advice? Thanks!
It seems that you have the portfolio page layout assigned in addition to using the portfolio page builder element, which will result in two portfolio instances on the page.
The bottom instance (smaller columns) is being populated from the page template. If your goal is remove that, unassign the page template as highlighted in the attached screenshot.

Brilliant, that did the trick. I selected 'default' and that worked just fine. Thanks for your very prompt response.
You're welcome gield
