after updating my theme to version 4.5 and 4.5.1 my calendar plugin (calendarize.it) does not seem to work anymore when I use the new Ajax page transitions. I think because the plugin uses Ajax also. I don't see the calendar and I also get an error (see attachment).
When I disable the Ajax page transitions, it works again.
Hey again David, these items will be incorpated into the next update - but it seems as though adding that line simply changed the alert instead of removing it. The message now says that there's a missing ; - but it appears to still be originating from the calendar script itself.
Hello once again. Seems like the saga still continues... Here's the feedback from the plugin developer:
Hi,
The line we sent is sintactically correct. Maybe there is some error in the implementation. If you would prefer us to apply this we need ftp and the file and line where the author is implementing it.
Regards,
Alberto Lau.
Can you give me the name of the file and the line? I'll provide ftp access.
this matter is still on going, the author of the plugin can't really find a solution. Here is the full conversation, maybe you guys can find a solution?
Hi,
Unfortunately this have to be fixed by the theme author.
When the ajax transition finishes, the code needs to run this javascript:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){
init_rhc();
});
Best regards,
Alberto Lau.

Hi,
I think you went to the url http://www.bbcpoperinge.be/kalender directly. You should open your browser, go to http://www.bbcpoperinge.be (homepage) and then click on the link kalender. That’s how I get the popup error. I’m using Chrome on an iMac here.

David

Hi,
I commented out the 2 rhc lines at 5294 and it stills sends the unexpected identifier message. So it is not related to the modifications we sent you.
Best regards,

Hi,
Im very sorry for the late reply.
Please observe that the error is not related to the modifications we sent you. On your request we can try to debug the error, but since it is not caused by one of our products it may be time consuming for us to proceed.
Hey again, sorry for the weekend delay! I've changed one of the lines in the ajax file to supress errors - try clearing your browsers cache and seeing if it's better now :)
After updating the theme, I\'m having issues with the Calendarize.it plugin as well. When I hover over calendar events, it\'s showing javascript:void(0); and tooltips are not displaying. I have tried contacting the plugin developer but have not heard back from them. I see that you were able to help David Deneire since it is working on his site and am hoping you can help me too.

Hey David!
I've added that line for you so the calendar plugin works - however you'll need to ask the plugin developer why that alert is popping up still.
Cheers :)
Hello,
the plugin developer responded:
The following code would close the tooltip:
jQuery(‘.fct-tooltip’).trigger(‘close-tooltip’);
When there is a new salient update will this problem occur again if I don't ask you to add this code?
Regards,
David

Hey, wow nice thing, thanks!!! Do I need to give some explanation to the plugin author so this can be avoided if there are future updates?
Hey David!
No i am afraid the changes have been made on the theme end so no need to contact the author.
Cheers

Hey!
Sorry - the fix wasn't included in the last minor release but will be in the upcoming one. I've just applied it again to your site for now :)

Hi,
I forgot to add, the url is http://www.sheywellnessclinic.com/calendar/events-calendar/. If you want to access to the site, please email [email protected] and I will send the login info.
Thanks again,
Chris
Hey Chris,
I currently don\'t see any calendar on that page - could you verify that one still exists there to inspect or do I have to be logged in to see?
Cheers
Hi Nectar,
The calendar is on that page. You have to click on the month button. Let me know if you have any other issues.
Thanks,
Chris
Hey,
I\'ve attached a screenshot showing what I see
Cheers
